Dr. Paul Peterson has been a game changer for me and my dental needs. The personal care and attention given by him and his staff has been unparalleled. He has some of the best dental hygienists in the state. I actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned! He also is one of the most advanced and knowledgeable dentists I have ever been to, especially when it comes to sleep issues related to dentistry. I have seen such improvement in my sleep patterns and overall health, it’s been astonishing. I have been to a few dentist offices in town. I have got to say I am done looking around. Not only is the office nice, Dr. Peterson knows his stuff. He broke everything down for me that made sense. Rather than most doctors that just make you feel like they are trying to collect insurance money. All my procedures have been rumored to be painful and horrible experiences. Not one of them has been unpleasant. I dont dread going to the dentist. I literally got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled and went right back to work. I may just be lucky but regardless in my book. Best…dentist…ever!

I used to experience headaches and sore muscles around my jaw even though I wore a mouth gaurd.  It was one of those typical, rubbery, awkward mouth guards.  While the mouth guard prevented me from grinding my teeth together at night, I still grinded down on the mouth guard itself, resulting in aches and pains.  The new mouth gaurd Dr. Peterson made for me alleviated all of my symptoms.  Not only did the mouthguard prevent a tender jaw and headaches, it also comfortable, and easy to wear. The difference is amazing.

Dr. Peterson has the latest technology and expert knowledge to take care of my dental problems.  He cares about me and the rest of his patients.  His care for patients shows through his attentiveness and the time he takes to educate his patients about their dental health needs. I’ve been seeing doctor Peterson for a few years now and wouldn’t go to anyone else.  I had a dental implant done on my front tooth and it looks exactly like my other teeth!  Maybe better! I went in search of a dentist earlier this year to put in three dental implants to replace my bridge. I went to three different dentists before I decided on Dr. Peterson to do the work. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable in his field, he took the time to explain to me what was happening in my case and what my options were. I guess I’ve been going to HMO dentists too long because I couldn’t believe how patient and thorough Dr. Peterson was during that first examination in answering all my questions, listening to my history, and addressing all my concerns. I was so impressed with his office, his x-ray machine, and the super friendly people in his office. The cost of the implants was also quite reasonable, which was important to me as well.

I’ve now been seeing Dr. Peterson for six months, and I can say that Dr. Peterson is the best dentist that I’ve ever had. My implants look so perfect. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. He has been so caring and considerate, especially when it comes to pain management, and the quality of his work is outstanding. He has a very high standard and takes pride and joy in producing excellence. For example, when the first implants he received from the lab didn’t meet his standards, he sent them back and had them made again. He stands by his work as well, which is reassuring to me if something should ever go wrong. Dr. Peterson’s dental assistants and office personnel couldn’t be any nicer. They treat their patients like family. I used to dread going to the dentist, but I don’t anymore now that I’ve found Dr. Peterson. If you have a choice of dentist, check him out. You won’t be sorry that you did.

Going to the dentist has always been low on my list of fun things to do, and I usually avoided it like the plague. For the past eleven years, I would even make the 1600-mile, round-trip drive to Albuquerque to see a dentist that understood my anxiety, and worked with it. My husband had just returned home from his first dental appointment with Dr. Paul Peterson and announced he had a found a dentist I would like. I decided to give him a try made an appointment.

When I called the office and explained my dental phobias, I was immediately put at ease. Questioning my decision, and filled with fear, I arrived to the warm and comfortable waiting room, where a quite-caring receptionist greeted me and assured me I was in good hands. Within minutes, I was in the exam room and meeting Dr. Peterson, who listened to, and surely noticed, my concerns and fears. He provided me with several options to make my experience a pleasant one, assuring me he would stop anytime I raised my hand. Giving me and my teeth his total attention, I actually began to relax. Dr. Peterson, not only fully explained what dental work I needed, he was able to show me, using a small camera and large overhead television. Panicked, Dr. Peterson offered to prescribe anti-anxiety medication for me take prior to the appointment and explained he would use nitrous oxide. For the first time in my life, I felt relaxed and experience no pain as my teeth were drilled and filled. I’ve never had any medical professional devote so much time and attention to me, as Dr. Peterson did. I left knowing I would return, even if I moved and had to drive 1000 miles to get there. I finally found my dentist.

My twin sister, whose fear of dentists is similar to mine, had arrived from Milwaukee, WI. to celebrate our birthdays together. Having no insurance, and having not been to a dentist for over 10 years, what teeth she still had were in horrible shape. Worse of all, she would no longer smile. Still talking about my great dental experience, and knowing I had saved some money, I decided to offer her the gift dental work. Terrified to go to the dentist, but excited to have her teeth fixed, she accepted my offer. Dr. Peterson’s office scheduled an appointment for her and discovered that she needed root canals, crowns, fillings, and a good cleaning. Because she had to return home in nine days, and knowing that so much work would require hours to perform, Dr. Peterson came in early several days to get the work done. My sister’s anxiety level began to diminish with each appointment, to do Dr. Peterson prescribing anti-anxiety pills, use of nitrous, and most importantly Dr. Peterson’s skills and calming demeanor. Because I was paying 100% of the bill myself, Dr. Peterson worked to keep the costs down, while continuing to do his fantastic and nearly pain-free work. One week later, my sister was announcing to everyone, that she had found the best dentist EVER and for the first time in years, she smiled. Her beautiful smile and her telling me that she wants to get an appointment for next year makes me realize that no matter where we live, Dr. Paul Peterson is our dentist. If you’re looking for a great dentist, DR. PETERSON IS THE BEST.

I have been going to the Peterson family for my dentistry for about 10 years now.  I have found both Dr. Roger Peterson and his son Dr. Paul Peterson to be very honest and caring about their patients.  Their staff is efficient and friendly.  They really put you at ease.  They are state-of-the-art.

I have been to many dentists and what I especially like about Dr. Paul Peterson is his conservative approach to dentistry.  He will not push procedures that are not necessary.  He is competent and only advises procedures that are absolutely necessary.  This is not true of all dentists.  He will inform you of your options and make the best recommendations to you for the optimal health of your teeth and gums.  He does his best to make you comfortable in the dental chair.

Recently I wanted to have my teeth straightened.  Dr. Paul Peterson explained the Invisalign treatment to me.  He showed me a computerized progression of how my teeth would change over the course of the treatment and what my teeth would look at the end of the treatment.  There were no hidden costs and I am very pleased with my smile!  No matter how much correcting needs to be done to give you a great smile, Dr. Peterson can design and guide you through the Invisalign program and you will be amazed at the results.

So, if you are looking for an honest, competent, dentist who is truly dedicated to you and the health of your teeth and gums, I highly recommend going to Dr Paul Peterson!

For about 5 years I had become accustomed to suffering tension headaches, jaw joint pain, jaw clicking, back pain and trouble sleeping. When attempting to eat, I could barely open my mouth wide enough and would experience intense pain in my right jaw and ear. I met with Dr. Paul Peterson and his team for a consultation and was surprised that the issue all stemmed from having a misaligned jaw. After the first appliance was set, I started to see results within 3 days and completely pain free after 3 months. The quality of life being pain free is amazing!
