Generations of professional experience

Dr. Paul Peterson is a second generation dentist. “I had the opportunity to observe first hand the great relationships my father shared with his patients. He was always focused on quality and honesty. He taught me that. It was his greatest gift to my professional career. I saw how his patients became his friends and how they trusted him. He truly had a positive impact on their lives as an exceptional dentist.”

Dr. Peterson’s Passion Driven Purpose is for continual education from the country’s leading minds with the goal to provide services that can most impact his patient’s lives. This journey shaped his career and lead him to create a practice focused on Veneers, Full Mouth Reconstruction, TMJ Disorders, Sleep Apnea, Orthodontics based in 3-D diagnosis and Orthopedic Facial Growth and Implants.

Dr. Peterson has experienced TMD, headaches, neck pain and sleep apnea first hand, he also watched family members deal with debilitating headaches and migraines. This motivated him to search out the best research and clinical practices to help his loved ones, himself, and others like them. He is uniquely qualified to relate to much of what his patients are suffering from. He spends a lot of time with each patient in diagnosis and planning to understand the full spectrum of symptoms and set goals with them for treatment success.

Educational Qualifications

Dr. Peterson graduated with honors from University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco California where he was received awards for outstanding achievements in restorative and implant dentistry. He then spent time at the University of North Carolina studying advanced prosthetics and has always been extremely active with continuing education averaging hundreds of hours each year.

Memberships and fellowships

He is currently a member of the local and state dental associations as well as the American Dental Association and the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics. He is a Fellow with the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and a Team Dentist for the US Ski and Snowboard Teams. He has belonged to and participated in the American Academy of Sports Dentistry, the International Team for Oral Implantology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Laser Dentistry and has been a Preferred or Premier Provider with Invisalign almost every year since 2005.
